Privacy

Candy Crawl is an independent neighborhood project. It is not affiliated with the HOA or CCMC. Participating residents voluntarily provide their address, treat type, expected porch hours, and optional public porch note so this information can appear on the map and printable guide.

Do not submit another residence without permission. House submissions should be made by an adult resident or with an adult resident's permission. Porch notes are public; do not include names, phone numbers, access codes, vacation or travel information, or other private information.

Submitted information is used only to operate the Candy Crawl map. It is not sold or used for advertising. Candy Crawl does not use advertising trackers or create persistent visitor profiles. No visitor account, persistent browser ID, or GPS access is required. Short-lived server-side rate limits help prevent spam without storing an identifier on the visitor's device.

The visitor's browser connects to OpenStreetMap to load map tiles. Address confirmation sends the entered address from the server to the U.S. Census geocoding service. The site's fonts, images, scripts, and styles are served with the site rather than loaded from an advertising or analytics provider.

All visitor-submitted Candy Crawl data, including participation listings and privacy requests, will be manually purged on November 1, 2026. Residents may use the form below to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of their information before that date.
